Farm
Immersed in the sweet hills of Marche around the ancient city of Fermo, the agricultural farm Madonnabruna lies only 4 kms from the sea, between the town of Fermo and the village of Lapedona, and enjoys a beautiful panoramic view of the green hills and the Adriatic Sea.
The extent of the farm is 50 hectares devoted to fruit-growing, vineyard and to the rotation of sown fields. The farm is conducted following the rigorous systems of the integrated agriculture for low environmental impact.
From more than five years the farm is become the heart of a zone of repopulation of wild animals where every form of hunting is banished. Also for this motive it is easy to meet the fox, the porcupine, the hare and the pheasant and further birds elsewhere rare as the woodpeckers green and red, the barn owland and the brown hawk.
The history and people
The family Petracci - Giulietti deals with agriculture from over 300 years. Today the farm is directed by Paolo, graduated in Agriculture in Bologna, but the new generations are already (fortunately) arriving!
